After serving two overseas tours in the United States Marine Corps, Gene was honorably discharged at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He then received a B.S. degree in Business from UNC Wilmington. He took an early retirement offer after 30 years with BellSouth in sales of voice and data products to major business accounts. As a result of his background, Gene stays abreast of the rapid changes in technology. He has bought and sold several investment properties in North Carolina and the Charlotte area. He is an experienced negotiator and enjoys making things happen in a challenging and competitive business marketplace. He is married with three grown children. He has always served the communities he has lived in including serving on the Board of Directors as President of two neighborhood Homeowner?s Associations. He is the Vice Commander of the American Legion Post 86 in Cornelius where he regularly volunteers his service to the community. Gene genuinely cares about family, friends, neighbors, and communities. His goal in real estate is to always serve his clients in a professional, caring, and coaching manner.
